About
Austin Yoder is an actor, musician, and avid vitamin taker. He grew up in Vermont, where he was raised by two very supportive parents who encouraged him to do things like acting, stand-up comedy, and music. Being the oldest of three, all the parenting books were utilized on him, giving him a false sense of confidence that a career in performing was actually feasible. This led him all the way to Pace University where he would get his BFA in Acting.
Music
Simultaneously, Austin has been able to establish and maintain his own solo music career. Starting in high school, he began creating music with the goal of infusing indie-pop, funk, rap, and R&B with a unique and often humorous perspective on the world. He has released 3 albums with this goal, as well as starred in, produced, and directed several music videos to accompany them. Always making the best of his surroundings, Austin went from doing everything himself due to a lack of resources, to coming to New York and utilizing the city’s vibrant community of artists to bring the most out of these projects.
Aside from his hopes and dreams,
Austin loves his plants, which he’s personified because he can’t afford pets (if you must know, their names are Phillis, Ivy, Bartholomew, Lionel, and Elmer). He hopes that you’re happy, well-rested and that your body temperature sits at a glorious 98.6 degrees.
